Gay-Z Credits and Back Story

Call me Daddy! ...Chocolate Daddy!

Gay-Z, "Nut Up On My Chest," was a project many years in the making! It started off when Jeffrey Hernandez had a bit about a gay rapper. The opening was beautiful but there was never enough comittment to get the audience fully on his side.  Jeffrey was a huge fan of hip hop.  He tells you, "I love hip/hop! Who doesn't like hip/hop?  We had Jay-Z, Tribe Called Quest, 50 Cent... I even love Eminem." The excitement of a first white rapper begged the question of what the first gay rapper would be like.  It could be epic.

As Jeffrey put it, "I can see him with a pink bandana wrapped around his head.  Tattoo of a tear drop, falling down into a puddle...with a dolphin jumping out."

The bit prompted a novel idea that needed follow up.  There was a verse here, and another line there, but things didn't really pick up until Gay-Z had a full two verses and a chorus to work with.  The crowd response was overwhelming.

Customer after customer asked us after the show where they could see more of Gay-Z, so in 2011 Hard Knock Laughs and Jeffrey Hernandez went into the studio, layed down a custom track, and Gay-Z was born.  Three months later, a crew of the most amazinge 19 professionals that we've ever had the pleasure of working with nailed a long, long day of shooting, in three different locations, with 6 different shots. The result is an epic presentation that has brought smiles to thousands of viewers!
