Plain-English Introduction:

It's our intention to keep things as plain-English and cordial as possible on this site.  We are "honest-folk" that enjoy doing business and entertaining audiences (you!).  There are times, however, where legal stipulations require that some things be spelled out in more words than the average human would / should use while expressing his or her point.  There are a few people that require this extent of expression and, as Vilfredo Pareto would put it, these 20% of people will cause 80% of our problems.  So, the following ensues...

These Privacy Policies and Legal Notices change frequently, without notice, as the business grows and demands more words to express simple concepts.  Check back with every visit to be up-to-date with the current policy.  There are two things, in short, that we'd like you to be comfortable with from reading this page. However, please read the actual, wordy, legal terms and consider them the the final say on any matter presented here.

  1. On Privacy: We like you. We respect your privacy and hate spam and intrusion as much as the next person. We won't give your info away or sell it to third-parties.  Ever.
  2. On Legalities: This website is intended to promote events produced by Jeffrey Hernandez' Hard Knock Laughs TM and cultivate a community of cool, like minded people (You!).  We intend nothing else, so don't buy a home based on our advice, sell your kids, drink too much of anything, or otherwise make any life-altering decisions based on what you read here.  Make those decisions of your own accord and "use" this site at your own risk.

Privacy Policy:

This website, this company, respects personal privacy and web-privacy.  We attempt to collect no more information about you than we could gather from a hand shake and 30 second conversation.  We will not sell any of your information to third parties.  We do attempt to collect email addresses and we use those addresses to send out a weekly show lineup and the occasional promotional email to our fan base that has opted to give us their email address.  Email submissions are strictly voluntary and there are clear unsubscribe links on every promotional email sent by our company.  If you feel like you were contacted by a promotional email without opting in, simply reply back to the sender address with the subject line of "Remove me from list."  You will be removed promptly, nothing more complex is required.

This website is hosted by Squarespace which tracks visitor information in the form of IP information and time, date, and frequency of visit.  There is no personal information exchanged further than IP, and internet service provider information displayed to the webmasters.  There might be cookies placed on your computer to facilitate this tracking.  There is nothing in place that will override your actual browser's settings.
